The MIDI to CV Module is Back!
After a long absence due to the microchip shortage, the AvonSynth AVS-MIDI-1 MIDI to CV module is back and available to order now!
This very flexible module offers everything you need to get your MIDI notes, velocities, modulation, aftertouch, and continuous controller messages from your keyboard or sequencer to your modular. At just 10HP, but with 4 channels of gate, pitch, and velocity outputs, you can control up to 4 independent or polyphonic voices, and with the built-in MIDI Thru port, you can chain multiple units to achieve large numbers of voices and massive amounts of control!
Not only that, but the module also sports a tuning input that allows you to get all of your analogue VCOs in beautiful equal-tempered A=440 tuning to play nicely in tune with each other, as well as other instruments. And now with Revision 4, MIDI Tuning Standard bulk dumps are now supported, so it’s now possible to tune to any scale imaginable!

AvonSynth Modular modular synthesizer cases finally released!
You may have seen these beautiful steel cases in the wild at a number of prominent studios and education facilities around the country, but now that we’ve been able to fulfil all of our pre-orders, we are ready to release these magnificent creations to the public!
The AVS-CASE-1 is an 84HP Eurorack-style modular synthesizer case of solid steel construction, with removable 19″ ears for standard racks. They are built with lipped rails, loaded with custom, stainless steel threaded inserts, and every case comes with a custom-built precision-tuned linear power supply and toroidal transformer to cover all of your power needs with the lowest noise and interference. There are 18 power slots included (upgradable to 25), and each case comes with removable panels and symmetrical mounting holes for attaching multiple cases, so that your cases can grow as your system grows!

New Creative VC-LFO Module Released!
Our brand new, fully analogue voltage-controlled LFO module (AVS-LFO-2) has been released at long last!
After a lengthy development, we’ve finally come up with our dream VC-LFO, and we can’t wait to share it with the world. It provides very precise frequency control via Frequency, Fine-tune, attenuated CV, and a 3-position speed range switch, and it provides smooth sine, sweeping triangle, and sharp pulse waves. But what really sets this module apart is that not only can all of these outputs be skewed left and right with the skew knob, but the skew parameter can be CV controlled, with it’s own attenuator, all in the analogue domain! In addition, the reset input provides a smooth analogue reset of the waveform toward the ground, and the direction of travel after reset is set with the +/- switch.
This module is a blast to experiment with, and the creative possibilities are extensive.

VC Crossfade / Panner Module Now Available!
Our brand new voltage-controlled crossfade and panner module (AVS-XFADE-1) is now available and ready to order!
This fully analogue module takes two inputs, and provides a mix of the two signals whose balance is dictated by the position of the Fade knob, which acts similar to the crossfader on a DJ mixer. In addition, the fader position can be controlled by voltage sent to the CV input, which can also be attenuated by the CV knob. This allows not only slowly morphing of sounds, but also creative audio-rate modulation, creating entirely new timbres.
Connected to the same fader mechanism, left and right panoramic outputs are also provided. This allows you to pan a signal from left to right under voltage control – creating stereo movement and tremolo effects.
