KiwiRails
AvonSynth have created our own in-house range of Eurorack-specific rails that we’re calling KiwiRails!
These custom-designed high quality aluminium extrusions are made to be the best of all worlds in the Eurorack space, with a 2mm ‘lip’ for modules to sit in, compatibility with 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm deep module mounting screws, and come with rail mounting points at the ends tapped for standard M4 machine screws. The rails come in both Silver and Black anodised finishes to suit your specific module rack. KiwiRails have a 2x5mm space inside to insert mounting screws with which to attach modules, and naturally fit perfectly with our own Threaded Insert rails described below.
The rails come stock in our AVS-CASE-1 AvonSynth Eurorack cases, but due to popular demand from DIY case builders, we’ve decided to make KiwiRails available to the public. We have plenty of stock of these cut to standard 84HP lengths, but we can cut these rails to any length long or short. They are priced at $0.22 per HP (eg. $18.50 for an 84HP rail), and nationwide long-package shipping via courier is $11.
Threaded Inserts
AvonSynth have also created our own in-house range of Threaded Inserts!
These custom-designed high quality stainless steel insert rails are 2mm thick and 5mm tall, with M3 tapped holes at every 1HP point along them. These are perfect for inserting into Eurorack rails (like our KiwiRails above) so that modules can easily be mounted wherever needed in a Eurorack case, without having to deal with troublesome sliding inserts.
The Threaded Inserts come stock in our AVS-CASE-1 AvonSynth Eurorack cases, but due to popular demand from DIY case builders, we’ve decided to make them available to the public. We have plenty of stock of these cut to standard 84HP lengths, but we can cut these inserts to lengths shorter than 84HP, and longer lengths can be created by inserting multiple units into a single rail. They are priced at $0.15 per HP (eg. $12.60 for an 84HP rail), and nationwide long-package shipping via courier is $11.
